Light Encounters is a social adventure game developed by producer Chen Xinghan and his team Thatgamecompany. It is operated by NetEase Games agency in China. The game was released on The App Store on June 21, 2019 [1], on Android on July 9, 2020 [2], and on Switch in June 2021 [39].
In the game, players will incarnate themselves as "descendants of Light", carrying the will of their ancestors, and join hands with their friends to launch an adventure full of adventures on the wonderful land of the sky Kingdom [3].
The game was named AppStore2019 Game of the Year [41] and won the 2020 Apple Design Award.
